Once you have downloaded the PDC World Darts Championship application from the iTunes app store you will notice that a new application icon appears on your iPhone. To launch simply tap this icon. If you don't have a PDC World Darts Championship icon, please make sure you have synced your iPhone to your PC or Mac and that you have completed the checkout process on the iTunes app store. You can move the game to your device's quick launch dock if required. Navigation After the app has finished loading you will be presented with a menu screen containing a list of options. Navigation is made by tapping a menu item with your finger to display its name, and then tapping again to confirm selection. If you need to change the volume you can do this by using the volume buttons on your device. New Game When you select 'Start' from the main menu, you will get the option to select one of 5 game modes (two are locked and need unlocking through the tournament) Playing The Game To move the aiming reticule, tilt the device until it is over the desired part of the board. To throw the dart, place the aiming reticule over the desired part of the board. Then place a finger on the screen (or thumb) until the reticule turns blue (only when it is blue can you throw to avoid accidentally throwing the dart). To finally throw the dart, flick the iPhone forward. To get greatest accuracy, throw the dart when the reticule is at the smallest.
